Shree Shree Jagannath Sanskrutika Seva Trust (SSJSST)

ABHIYAN began its journey in 2005, founded by Late Shri Aniruddha Das and a few devoted members. Though there was no predefined roadmap, their unwavering dedication and deep devotion to Lord Jagannath led to the formation of a growing community. This passion culminated in the official registration of the Shree Shree Jagannath Sanskrutika Seva Trust (SSJSST) in 2006.

Over the years, ABHIYAN has reached several significant milestones. Two major landmarks include:

  • 2019: The first ever Rath Yatra in Panvel, where we successfully pulled a chariot across the city, marking a spiritual and cultural triumph.

  • 2020: The completion and consecration of our temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath, a longstanding dream realized with the efforts and blessings of our members.

From humble beginnings with just a few families, our community has now grown into a vibrant family of over 600+ member families.

Our Activities

Beyond religious observances, SSJSST is deeply involved in various social, cultural, and humanitarian efforts. These include:

  • Daily temple services and spiritual events

  • Disaster relief efforts, including aid during the Kolhapur floods

  • Regular Swachh Bharat Abhiyan participation

  • Tree plantation drives, health camps, and blood donation camps

  • Organizing festivals, cultural programs, and community welfare initiatives

We celebrate not just festivals, but also a spirit of togetherness and mutual support, especially during challenging times.
